What to Expect
When you contact our team, we will ask you for images of your current pieces, a description, and if you've given any thought to what you hope to achieve. For example, do you hope to transform your piece from a ring into a necklace?
We often redesign bridal sets (engagement rings, wedding bands), which involves removing the gems and creating a brand new setting for them.
We will need to inspect the stones to ensure they are in usable condition, and advise you of any potential issues.
Whether you have ideas of what you want, or are looking to explore possibilities, the JJ team will work with you to educate you on your different options.

It’s time to start dreaming up your perfect piece.
Here are a few things to think about before we get started:
- What kind of piece do you want to create? (e.g. are we turning grandma’s necklace into a bracelet?)
- Are you open to adding more stones?
- What’s your style—classic, modern, bold, colourful?
- Do you have any inspiration images saved?
Once we finalize the design, we will provide you with a quote, followed by a CAD mockup (if required).

Pricing varies by project and depends on many factors.
We will provide you with a detailed quote before beginning any work.
If you wish, we can melt the leftover gold from your original piece and apply the value as a credit towards your new Jessica Jewellery!

Yes. We specialize in redesigning heirloom and sentimental jewellery into pieces that better suit your personal style. From inherited rings and necklaces to jewellery you simply no longer wear, we’ll work with you to create something that honours its history while giving it a new life.
In many cases, yes. Diamonds and gemstones can often be removed from their original settings and incorporated into a new ring, necklace, bracelet, earrings, or other custom design. Before beginning, we’ll inspect your stones to make sure they’re suitable for reuse.
If they are broken or damaged in any way, we will inform you and advise you of potential risks before re-using them.
Most of the time, we will remove the stones from your gold, and then use new gold to create your new design.
This ensures that your new piece is in the best condition possible as the metal is unworn and has not deteriorated over time. Sometimes, clients have sentimental value in their pieces and specifically want to incorporate the gold from the old piece into the new one. In this case, we can certainly accommodate, but often need to add new gold to complete the piece.
Please note that if this is important to you, we will assess the gold in your existing piece, and advise you of the advantages and disadvantages of using the old gold, if any.
