I often get asked how to build a versatile jewelry collection that can be dressed up or down. Keep reading to learn about options for different categories.

Rings

Aside from a bridal set (engagement ring and wedding band), stackable diamond rings are a must-have that allow you to create a variety of looks using a few key pieces.

I suggest building to a set of two pave diamond rings to start. By selecting the same metal colour, you can stack these rings in so many ways. These also look great worn individually, or worn as a set of two.

Your next step is to choose a middle stacker. This can be a gold ring, a bead ring, or a ring with coloured gemstones on it. You now have three rings that you can mix and match.

Do you have an eternity band? If yes, our pave rings stack beautifully around it, too. This takes your glam ring stack to a whole other level.

Necklaces

A really affordable way to layer is via chokers. Gold chokers are usually under $100, and you can buy charms to slip on and off these chains.

If you’re thinking about a classic piece, our floating diamond necklace is absolutely stunning and timeless. For a less expensive version, you can get a very similar look through our cluster diamond necklace.

If you want to add a thicker, more substantial gold necklace to your layer, you totally can, but be aware that gold is priced by weight. So a heavier piece is going to cost more. If your budget is limited, then we would sooner suggest putting this towards a diamond necklace that you will not tire of.

Earrings

We love diamond studs but understand that they are more of an investment piece, so they may not be for everyone depending on their circumstances (personal, financial). Our round diamond cluster studs are a beautiful alternative that allow you to get a very similar look at a fraction of the cost. They are often worn on the daily by our clients, yet they are elegant enough to be dressed up for a fancy occasion.

Do you love huggies that sparkle or dangle? Go for our perfect diamond huggies (or the petite version if you have smaller ears). They are classic, affordable and the type you can wear at home, at work, out to dinner or more.

Pearls are another staple that are classic and have passed the test of time. Go for a blush or grey colour for something a little more unique.
